Screen Shots

Here's our TAPI plug-in working within Outlook. Right click on a contact in Outlook, and choose "Call Contact" and the following dialog appears. The call will be made through your desktop phone. You can also open a contact and select Call from the Actions menu, or click on the phone icon in the toolbar ribbon anywhere in Outlook.

If you click on "Dialing Options" in the above dialog, you can configure the "line" used to make calls. In the dialog below, you can see that Mitel UCExpress has been selected as the device to use to place calls.

The screen below shows Microsoft CRM working with Mitel Unified Communicator Advanced. The contact screen popped up automatically on an incoming call.

Here's another TAPI example - working with Time Matters, a Law firm application.

Clicking on the phone number above, opens Time Matters' Dialer dialog. Click on Dial to place a call.

Clicking on "Setup" in the above dialog shows how you select Mitel UCExpress as the "modem" in Time Matters.
